What is moss art?

  • Moss art is artwork made from real, preserved moss that keeps its natural texture and color without needing water, light, or maintenance.

Other preserved botanicals can be added to create texture, subtle color accents, and visual energy. Each piece is shaped by hand, completely unique, and brings a natural, calming presence into interior spaces without the care required by living plants.

                                                                                          How are they made?

Moss art is made slowly and by hand, using real preserved moss and botanicals. Every piece carries a little part of the creator in it — it’s all made with care and intention.

Some pieces come together easily, where everything just flows into place. Others take time. They’re rearranged again and again, playing with colors, textures, and different botanicals until it finally feels right. Sometimes that process takes days, sometimes weeks — and that’s part of what makes each piece what it is

Do they require maintenance?

No maintenance at all. The moss and botanicals are preserved, so there’s no watering, no sunlight, and nothing to tend to. Just keep the piece indoors and out of direct sun, and it stays exactly as it is.Hang it up and enjoy it!

Where do you ship?

I ship across Canada and the U.S., and I’m open to other countries if shipping costs make sense. Some pieces are more delicate — with tiny branches or dried flowers — and those are best for local pickup or delivery only.
Shipping is always charged at the actual cost of shipping and packing materials, no markups. If you’re unsure, just email me and we’ll figure out the best option together.

Do you take custom orders?

Sort of — yes and no. I’m a one-person operation and my schedule is usually pretty full, so I can’t always take on fully custom work. That said, I’m always happy to listen to ideas, color palettes, and the general vibe you have in mind, and I’ll do my best to work with your vision.

Just know that once the creative process takes over… it kind of does its own thing :). If that sounds okay to you, feel free to reach out and we can see what’s possible.

Do you only make moss art?

Moss art is my main thing, but I’m definitely a bit of a jack of all trades. I like experimenting and trying out different materials, so you might find other handmade pieces here too — things like epoxy wall art, keychains, and possibly macramé, beadwork or ceramics down the road.

If it’s creative, hands-on, and fun to make, there’s a good chance it’ll show up here at some point. Everything I share follows the same approach — crafted by hand, with intention, and because it feels right, not simply to fit a label.
